Once you’ve decided on a business model, you now need to decide on a business structure such as a sole proprietorship, limited liability company, partnership or business corporation.

Once you’ve made your decision you need to register your business by applying for an Employer Identification Number (EIN) through the IRS website.
Depending on where in the US you’re located, you may need to obtain additional permits and licences. You should be able to find this information on your state’s website.
Finally, you will need to fill out the necessary paperwork, file for taxes, and most likely pay a fee to your state government.
