When it comes to starting a dog grooming business, you’ll need to think about the specifics of how you’ll run your business.

Think about how and where you’re going to operate – will you run your business from a mobile grooming van, your home, or are you going to be a bricks-and-mortar business?

When making this decision, you need to consider the goals that you’ve set for your business and also your budget (which will affect whether you can afford premises, or transport).

You’ll also need to consider the services and potential packages that you’ll offer your clients. Will you provide a set list of grooming services, or will you be open to providing bespoke grooming?

Remember to refer back to your competitor and customer research to give you an idea of what’s already on the market (so you can offer a unique service) and what customers are looking for from their grooming provider.
