Your research shouldn’t start and end with your competitors. You may have looked through their websites, their social profiles and any other external links they have that state their prices but just because that’s what they are charging doesn’t mean that’s what customers are paying. You should conduct market research on pet parents to get an understanding of their purchasing behaviors and habits, including what they’re willing to pay for the services you offer, and how often. There are many ways you can do this such as by joining Facebook groups, running a poll on your own social media profiles, speaking directly to pet parents and looking at reviews on your competitors’ profiles such as Facebook, Instagram and Google. This will help you be able to price your services at a reasonable and affordable cost.
